I am working with my CTO to get approval to purchase the premium version of Lansweeper. I'm being asked to provide written information regarding the setup...
Can I get a .pdf of a premium user's setup from free user to premium user?
I'm trying my best to sell your software to my company! 🙂

If you use a vendor like Dell then the asset tag is automatically scanned.
If you use clone machines I suggest storing this number somewhere in the registry on each computer and have it scanned by lansweeper.

Adding custom fields will be added to the next version.

I'm speaking about the lansweeper tool...is there a way to track your computer and server assets in this product? I suppose you could manually enter the pc/server asset tag numbers into the computer description field but wow, that's alot of work!

Do you mean a non-computer asset tracking system?
No, sorry.

The upgrade is basicly:
Stopping the service, replacing the executable, starting the service.

All other tools are standalone executables that don't require installation.
