How to configure AD to Lansweeper

I don't know where to configure AD with Lansweeper. Unable to find the guide to configuring. Please advise.

Your documentation doesn't provide much detail instruction to the configuration. Do you have a contact in my country, Singapore, that I can contact.

I am getting very frustrated that the software that I subscribe is not able to work properly.

To use passive scanning,
1) Put the lsclient.exe in a shared folder accessible to all computers.
2) Make a batch file with the only line being : \\fileserver\share\lsclient.exe lsserver (replace fileserver with the name of your file server, replace lsserver with the name of the server Lansweeper is on)
3) Create a User Policy that runs the batch file on login and apply to all users.

To use the active scanning, refer to the documentation.

But when I scan, I can only see the server where the Lansweeper is installed. I am getting very confused and do not know how to get the scanning work so that I can see all my inventory in the same domain.

Please provide me a detail step by step guide to configure the lansweeper so that I can scan all my inventory. Maybe you can guide me where to do the configuration by using a screen capture.

What you did is OK, you don't have to install it on the domain controller.

Yes, my AD is in the same domain as my Lansweeper but not install in the server. I installed Lansweeper in a Virtual Server.

When you mention same domain, do you it has to be in the same server?

In 3.5 you need to install the service in the same domain as where AD is located.
In 3.5.1 (beta is available from forum) this is not required if you use the alternate credentials.

In 3.5 the alternate credentials for not work for not trusted domains.

Do I need to install Lansweeper Premium in the same server where the AD is located? I notice that when I configure the domain in the active scanning, there is no parameter request for where the AD server is located.

Currently, I have installed the Lansweeper in a Virtual Server. Not the same server as the AD. After configuring the Active Scan, the system still did not display all the equipments I have in the server.
