How to get the lastest status of the computers in the network?

Dear all,

Does anyone know how to scan all the computers in the network in order to get what their status are? For example, newly added softwares, hardwares, etc.
I want to scan them manually by using free version of lansweeper. Can I do it? Thank you

Easiest would be to just place lsclient in all the user's loginscript (with the free version)
