I am still evaluting this software and I have ran into a strange issue. While the LS scans have worked out quite well and such, I am having a hard time for it scanning some of our Windows 2003 Domain controllers. I am getting half of them inventoried. The other half just seems to not report back the OS information, Hardware Information and only shows maybe 10 installed applications.

I have a trial key for Premium so I am actively scanning specific OUs. I have used LSTrigger to try and update the information. None of the servers report any RPC or WMI errros. I have the issue with Dell and HP servers a. But I also have the same model Dell and HP servers reporting everything normally too. ALL servers are a mixed version of Windows 2003 Standard SP1, R2 with SP2.

I will compare some Windows Security updates to see if there is something causing the problem.

Any suggestions would be great. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I just "upgraded" to the 3.5.2 Beta and now it scans this server just fine. Not real sure what that was all about. This server was the last Domain controller to "not" scan. So all is well right now. Thanks.

I get the following results when running the WMI dianostics :

29112 13:13:31 (0) ** SUCCESS: WMIDiag determined that WMI works CORRECTLY.
29113 13:13:31 (0) **
29114 13:13:31 (0) ** WMIDiag v2.0 ended on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 13:13 (W:39 E:0 S:0

Any ideas?

If the computer got stuck in the queue this mean that almost certain the WMI installation is corrupt.
I recommend repairing the wmi with 6) on this link : http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/accessdenied.aspx

Yes. It does show up in the in Process Queue; along with one computer and another Domain Contoller.

Yes, it looks like this server is stuck in the scanning queue.
Could you confirm this by browsing to http://servername:9524 (lansweeper server)

Is this the "waittime" section you are referring to?

Could you post a screenshot from the "waittime" part in the action screen please.
