So I feel like major n00b even trying to get this software to run. I have a server that is clear of everything, and I am trying to install this to try out this software. I am looking forward to seeing the results and using this software, but I can't figure it out. if my servername is "server" what do I type in the "Type the server name, or choose it from the dropdown list:" I can't get it to work... I need some help! Thanks!

Which sqlserver did you install.
If you installed sqlexpress on the local machine this would typically be servername\sqlexpress
(replacing servername with the name of your server)

If you use your desktop machine you can download SQL Express 2005 (see the documentation)
It's free

that could be my first problem.... 🙂 What version is recommended? And do I install this on a server, or can I run it from a desktop machine?
