When using the search boxes I can put in part of a software name and get returns for all items with that string in the name. My question is I have named all computers with the assett tag followed by the room location (300123456gwp202) 300123456 is the assett tag part and gwp202 is the room location. When I search for a computer I can enter the first part say 3001 and get all computer that have that first part, but when I try something like *gwp or *gwp* I get nothing. Is there a way to get all computers with gwp in the name?

thank you
John

that was it. % it the wildcard (I should have called my DB admin first) I think this is a standard DB wildcard character.

thank you
