Lansweeper questions regarding Citrix, VMWare, XEN

can you help me, i am wondering whether or not Lansweeper also analyses the software on computers with vmware, Xen or other virtualisation software?

Most of the new terminals are running Windows XP, so that's great. Thanks!

The terminals will be scanned if they are running windows 2000 or higher (so probably not)

Ok, but how about the usage of citrix terminals? This is important because of the lisence reports.

If you have a windows client/server running (no matter if it's virtual) just run the lsclient and wmi will start reporting data.

Is it also possible to monitor our citrix servers and clients? How does lansweeper go about that in the combination of RES PowerFuse?

All my Virtual machines and server got analysed without any problems. All VM are treated as real mechine so you sould not run into any problem. As for the model of the machine you will get Virtual Machine 🙂
