Installing Lansweeper 3.2 and when I get to the Lansweeper Service Configuration dialog I get the following.

Setup has detected that user: "username" has no administrative rights on the domain. In order to have Lansweeper service up and running, it must be configured to run under an administrative user account!

Setup can continue with this issue but is highly recomended to be fixed!

Please advise,
Niles

Hi Xavier,

This issue is fixed in the next version of the installer (which should be uploaded later today)

(you can safely ignore the error now)

Hello,
I just made a fresh install of Windows XP with "MS SQL Express 2008 with tools".
After modifying the SQL Settings like it is written in the lansweeper documentation, I installed lansweeper 3.2 and have exactly the same problem has described here while using the administrator account of the domain (which, of course, has all administrative rights on the domain...).

You can continue without problems, it's just a warning.

I have been using this user account, which has Domain Admin rights, with Lansweeper 3.1 Should I just continue even if I get this error? What problems will this cause if I do continue?

The script checks if the username has "domain admin" rights.
If you want to continue with another user, no problem, it's just a warning
