Links in a custom fields

Could i put a links to a file share in a custom fields ? and how ?

This feature is on our to do list for version 5 of Lansweeper.
We currently have no release date for this upgrade.

Dear Sir,

If possible it would be nice to have a field available to store either a file itself or a link to a file in the database.

A good example of our need is the capability to store a scanned copy of a supplier invoce or a copy of a link to an RMA internet page.

We think this could really help our asset management automation.

Do you think it is possible ?
