I seem to be having some trouble with the install. Windows2000 Server SP4 with SQL Server 2000 v8. Logged in as local administrator I start a clean install of Lansweeper 3.5.2 and install all components (database, service, website). All components are valid and the installer verifies with a green successfull prompt before moving on. The issue starts when Lansweeper service requests an adminitrative windows account in order to run.

I put in the DOMAIN\USERNAME with the proper password from an account that is a member of the domain administrators but it fails to authenticate. I receive a "Logon Failure: unknown UserName or bad Password!" error in red text.

This issue didn't happen with our W2k3 server on another domain using sql server 2005, but I don't think that is the problem. I appreciate any suggestions as I have tried several different types of domain administrator accounts.

Thank you for the support,

Sean

Windows 2000 is not supported as a service installation (sql and web are ok)
