Hi,

I just installed Lansweeper for the first time and doing some testing. Everything seems to work as a charm, even on a SQL2008 Express install. Though when I launch the LsClient on the server were Lansweeper is installed (need this server in the inventory as well) it errors with cannot access file or no permissions, etc.

Is this as designed or am I doing something wrong. It works on the other servers though.

Cheers

Dennis

Yes I did copy the LsClient to the netlogon on this server. The server is a BDC by the way (but on the DC it works fine). The logged on account is a global admin and the configured account within LS is a admin either. Manually it did not work as well (from c:\prog\ls\client), same error.

Did you copy lsclient.exe to the netlogon folder of this server?
Do you have access to this share with your user?
When you copy lsclient.Exe to the client and execute it manually, does this work?
