LSRemote problems

I've recently been unable to use LSREMOTE. When I run it, it goes through the motions, removing old instance, installing, etc. but then bombs with the dialog box "Remote Control has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."

Windows 2008 R2 server with SP1. The problem started around the time I installed SP1 so I'm thinking it's related but I get the same error message if I run it from a 2008 non-R2 server.

LSRemote version 4.1.0.9
Lansweeper version 4.1.0.18

Does not matter what OS the remote computer is running.

Ideas? Maybe a recent Microsoft update?
