Engaged Sweeper
Hi,

We have an Apple Xserve that is not recognized as a Mac but a webserver because it has a web server installed. It also responds to SNMP so I still get some basic disk info but not all the informations that a "real" Mac scan offers.

I have change the asset type to Apple Mac but it still doesn't scan it like a Mac and give me a full inventory.

How can I force the real type of scan?

Regards,
René Frej NIelsen

Please contact support@lansweeper.com and provide us with:
- Screenshot of the Lansweeper webpage of the problem machine.
- Screenshot of a connection test performed to the machine using the DeviceTester.exe: http://download.lansweeper.com/tools50/DeviceTester.exe
Perform the test on your Lansweeper server, connecting to the client machine, and show us the entire test window.
- Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Errorlog.txt, as present on your Lansweeper server.
