MAXlength limit

The following erros are listed in the errorlog.txt several times:

6/10/2010 1:55:43 PM: Cannot set column 'softwareVersion'. The value violates the MaxLength limit of this column.

at System.Data.DataTable.InsertRow(DataRow row, Int32 proposedID, Int32 pos, Boolean fireEvent)
at System.Data.DataRowCollection.Add(DataRow row)
at LansweeperService.mdlTracker.AddTracker(Int32 action, String section, DataRow datarow, String table, SqlConnection& sqlcon)

Can i change the MaxLength Limit easily or is there another fix available?

Found a (corporate) deployed ms update (KB951608) that uses 115 characters in the version field!
Don't know if it's our own customized deployment or MS set the version info.

It's nearly impossible to edit all workstations that have this update installed. And lansweeper is working as it should so i'm ok with it for now....

Found it in the windows registry
HKLM > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Currentversion > Uninstall > %software% > DisplayVersion

Do you have a computer scanned ok but without the software?

Tried to find the computer / software but it isn't listed in the database, due to the maxlenght i quess. I checked the table and the longest value is appr. 50 chars.

...So i have to find it another way...any suggestions?

Can you find the software/computer with this problem.
The field is currently 100 characters (which is long for a version number)

Currently we're using 4.0.0.27 premium.

Started with 3.5.2.0 and upgraded to 4.x
Upgrade path: 4.0.0.18 > 4.0.0.21 > 4.0.0.24 > 4.0.0.27
Server is running Windows 2003 R2 Ent.Ed. with - a lansweeper dedicated - SQL Server 2008 Std.Ed.(10.0.2531)
