Engaged Sweeper
We have lansweeper installed on its own server and the database is on a sql server. I need to move the database back to the lansweeper server and need to know if this can be done by copying it to the server and updating a file on the lan sweeper server. Where would the database have to be put and what file would have to be updated? Moving from sql server 2005 to built in sql express.

You will need the sql server management studio:

- Detach the database from the original server.
- Copy the datafiles to the new server.
- Configure the server for mixed authentication.
- Attach the database, name it "lansweeperdb"
- Create a user "lansweeperuser" and give it full control permissions on the "lansweeperdb"
- update the web.config and lansweeper.exe.config file with the new database, login, password information.
