I have set up an alert for event 6008. So far so good, as I am getting the alert. However, I am getting multiple alerts for the same event, not just in the same day but across days. For example:
The actual event occurs on:
Time: 11/14/2010 6:47:06 AM
EventID: 6008
Source: EventLog
Got the email alerts on:
11/14/2010 @ 11:17 AM
11/14/2010 @ 9:21 PM
11/15/2010 @ 6:39 AM
11/15/2010 @ 10:00 AM
11/15/2010 @ 3:44 PM
11/16/2010 @ 12:39 AM
11/16/2010 @ 9:44 AM
7 emails so far and they are all for the event above.
The actual event occurs on:

I have upgraded Lansweeper as you told me and is now on 4.0.0.40. I am still getting multiple alerts for the same event. Here's what I got so far:
12/20/2010 @ 9:00PM
12/21/2010 @ 4:04AM
12/21/2010 @ 5:05AM
12/21/2010 @ 1:10PM
4 email alerts for the same event as below.
Alert: EventLog - 6008
Computer: XXXX
Time: 12/20/2010 18:17:53
EventID: 6008
Source: EventLog
The previous system shutdown at 6:11:04 PM on 12/20/2010 was unexpected.

12/21/2010 @ 4:04AM
12/21/2010 @ 5:05AM
12/21/2010 @ 1:10PM

Please upgrade to the latest version to fix this problem.
