Question about comparing

Hello!

First of all I would like to say that lansweeper software is awesome and very useful. I would like to ask a creator if he can help me solving this scenario:

In our company we are trying to solve the license problem with this software. The idea is, that we would like to check every several months whats the difference on the installed machines. For example if in May 2009, 20 computers of 100 have installed MS OFFICE, we would like to compare how many new installation have been done since then.

Plz, give me some advice, tips, step-by-step how can we do that.

We had some bad experiance with the last upgrade. When we had upgraded Lansweeper from previous version to 3.5.0.44, after the upgrade the SQL base was empty. I hope this will not repeat if do the upgrade again.

No date has been announced yet.

You probably used the installer instead of the upgrade package.
The download page shows in red: Don't use this installer if you want to upgrade.

This would be hard to do it now because the history is not stored.
Next version will feature tracking of changes.
