This may have been answered already, but ai have not been able to locate any info, and just need a little guidance -- My AD scans work well, and I am able to gather info from all machines, but my problem is that a significant number of my users connect remotely via VPN, and my scans seem to pull information based partially on machine name, and partially on ip address, - for example - I have at least 5 situations where I have the machine name for one machine, the logged in username from a different machine, and the description from a third different machine. I understand that the scanner is working properly - because all of these machines had that same ip address at one time or another while the scans were running and updating, but my problem is - I now have a composite view of a machine, and I have no way of identifying the valid info from the improperly matched info.javascript:insertsmiley('

I will try to work out a better method of configuring my network to shift the VPN users to a different range or something, but these users rarely come into the office, and I will need to eventually figure out how to properly scan and manage these machines without mangling the data
I am currently just using the default active scan, based on AD OUs, so maybe there is something I can do there as well to better filter, I just don't know and would appreciate any insight for other users who have resolved this issue before
Thank you in advance
