Hello all,

i have a problem with displaying the userpictures.

I have deleted the folder in iss and replaced it with the virtualfolder as stated in an already older topic. So far so good. I can perfectly browse to http://<servername>/lansweeper/userpictures/<domainname>/<userid>.jpg
but the pictures in lansweeper are not showing up. Is there anything else that need to be configured or is there anything i can check to see what's wrong?

Regards
Kevin

i managed to resolve the issue, apperntly iis6 can't use networkusers to authenticate to UNC virtual directory. By adding everyone with read rights to the folder solved the issue.

this topic can be closed.

I have doublechecked and both are ok. The strange thing is that i can perfectly browse to the pictures if i browse to http://<servername>/lansweeper/userpictures/<domainname>/<userid>.jpg, is there some logfile i can check to see why it can't load the pictures?

No.

You can use Process monitor from sysinternals to see what's going on. (file not found, access denied, ...)

Make sure that domainname is the correct netbios name.
Make sure that the user running IIS has read permissions on the path where the userpictures virtual folder maps to.
(for example c:\mypictures\domainname)
