Remote screenshot not working win 7

Remote screenshot will not work on any of our windows 7 sp1 machines unless we turn off the remote registry service on the computer.
It installs the service then nothing else happens, it just goes back to the default state.

With remote registry service stopped it works flawlessly so it is not a firewall/anti virus issue.

Is there any workarounds for this?

The latest version of the tool is 5.0.0.1. When we released Lansweeper 5.0, we created a version of screengrab.exe that no longer requires registration. No further changes have been made to the executable since Lansweeper 4.2 however.

We don't have any recommendations for replacement tools unfortunately.

What was the last released version of the screen shot tool?
And is there anything else that is supplied that provides a similar functionality?

It is a great tool for us to use to verify what users currently have open before we start remotely pushing software updates etc but in a 3000 user environment it becomes a hassle to try to VNC or toggle remote registry every time.

We no longer develop or provide support for this tool unfortunately. It is no longer included in new Lansweeper 5.0 installations.
