Quick question -
I am working on adding company cell phones into LanSweeper, and in the cell phone category, the 'IP address' column is there. Is there a way to change that field to phone number?

It is not currently possible to change what is displayed in these popups unfortunately. We have added this feature request to our customer wish list.

What about changing the information shown when you mouse over the item, in that popup window. Can extra information be shown there?

No, this is not possible. You can however rename the Custom1 through Custom10 fields in the Lansweeper configuration console under Configuration\Custom Fields\Device Custom Fields.
