Hi all,

Fisrt I would like to say this program is fantastic!

I work for an Elementary school and I am using the free version of the software and I have a program on my computers that is "self contained" by that I mean there is no uninstall application, to remove it all I need to do is delete the directory and the shortcuts and it is gone.

My question is, is there a way for Lansweeper32 scan and report if this program is on the computers? I noticed in the Lansweeper console on the Configuration tab under Scanned files there is an option to add the path to exe's so I added this path %programfiles%\EMGames\EMMedia1-3\dirs\playerWin.exe. Which is the program I am trying to have show in the reports, but I am not familiar with SQL or databases and would like to know if this is even possible.

Everything else seems to show ok and I am impressed with that! I have tested other programs and so far Lansweeper32 has been the closest program I have found to doing what I need it to do. Thank you in advance for any and all input.

Thank you for the quick response, so adding it to the scanned files was correct? As for SQL, I guess I had better get studying! Thank you again.

If the program is always in the same folder (%programfiles%\EMGames\EMMedia1-3\dirs\playerWin.exe) then it's possible to scan it on all computers and create a report for it.

In the freeware version you will need SQL and database knowledge.
The premium version has a visual query builder (but you will still need basic sql knowledge)
