I am sure this has been answered before but I just can not find the answer (may also just be some lack of knowledge in my part).
I am trying to do a multi phase operation in a script and I want to pass that information back to the deployment agent as it finish phases. Status updates that will flow until the final completion so that the executor can see where they stand on a mass deployment. Some steps can take a while to execute on some machines as opposed to others. So knowing about what phase the deployment in in is help.
I know the deployment logs contain a Message and Return. Basically I am trying to solve how to update the message field (like it currently does for the Lansweeper stuff) until the final success is returned.
I would prefer not to have to have multiple scripts called and/or multiple Lansweeper steps being used to execute multiple commands/scripts. I prefer to have all this kept in a single script for Change Management and simplicity reasons.
