Does anyone know if Lansweeper (or another Application/Utility) has the capability to show what access an Active Directory security group has access to on a network?
I've always been hesitant to assign a user to a group in Active Directory because some groups that have been created are used to access certain files or folders on the network, and you never know what that group could potentially have access too.
anyway hope that makes sense, if you need more clarification let me know
thanks!

Lansweeper does not currently scan Active Directory groups or file/folder permissions. AD groups will be scanned in Lansweeper 5.1. Sysinternals has some tools that list file/folder permissions: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897332.aspx
