First of all we are in our second week of using this product and we are highly impressed.
We have a mix of IBM Cognos products such as Cognos Planning and Cognos Impromptu. When we scan the PCs and look at the Software overview, all products are identified as "Cognos Series 7 Version 3" (for example) not Cognos Impromptu specifically. This makes our reconciliation impossible online.
I have also noticed that "IBM Cognos 8.4 Planning Analyst" does not seem to be recognized whereas some of other components of Cognos Planning are.
I have looked to see if there is a way to customize recognition of software, but I cannot find anything. I have had a look at the manual but I cannot find anything.
Your help would be much appreciated.
