Hi,
First of all: splendid work with your tool. I just installed it on my network, and it seems that it can save met plenty of Euro's (hardware and software indexing is expensive when using Altiris).
Second: some improvements? [webconsole places shown]
[hardware]
- Video information -> Colors : show as 16bit or 24bit, not as 4294967296
- Video information -> Refresh : append Hz
- Video information -> Horizontal / Vertical : append px
[configuration]
- Desktopmonitor : switch the width and height columns (is switched cfr the hardware video info, leading to confusion when having a quick look)
- Display -> Frequency : append Hz, and prefer to use Refresh or Frequency in all column headers, no mixing.
[windows]
- harddisk : when there is a network share mapping, also record the destination
Third: some problems?
- Network -> IP address : empty here 😞
Ok, this is what I get after 1 test-run on 1 computer with 1 account.
I'll add it to the default logon-script of all my users. It's a calm week now, so I don't expect 700 results by tomorrow.
PS: some network info : about 250 workstations, 1400 users.

Some more thoughts on reporting.
Currently I keep track of all logon/logoff events in a MySQL database, which allows me to get immediate info on the users and workstations concerning who is working where. We are a school, so every student can work on any workstation.
Can there be kept track of this? Logon is no problem, but logoff still is.
And if implemented, can you make a decent reporting page on that?
If not, no probs, I have my own (simple) tool right now.
