I posted here before how we are utilizing LS to sort through the piracy in our organization.

We are using 4.0.0.18.

On the "License: Duplicate software license keys" page, it shows many computers with the same Windows license key. That is what I expected in my environment. However, it seems like it might be reporting them incorrectly. On PCs that I know are legit, it shows the same license key are ones that are not legit.

Example:
PC 1 (Pirated): xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
PC 2 (Legit): xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
PC 3 (Pirated): yyyyy-yyyyy-yyyyy-yyyy-yyyyy

How accurate are the scans that LS does on the software key?

Yes they are correct.

If I understand correctly you confirm that the results of Lansweeper are correct?

Its strange then. I can use WindowsXP Keyfinder on the computers and they match the ones listed in LS.

It just seems really really strange that computers that I have legit licenses are using pirated ones and vice-versa.

I guess that is why the person before me was let go.

They are accurate.

Is the problem in this report or in the details screen of the computer?
