Hi,
We are a MSP and have many clients, we currently use lansweeper enterprise to scan musliple clients to one central scanning server. What i have found is that if you have multiple clients that may use the same ip ranges lansweeper cannot report on these correctly. Also this affects configuring ip locations as you obviously cannot have more than one ip location with the same ip range (so what do you do if you are scanning a client who also happens to use the same ip range as another? you cannot sort this via ip locations as one already exists), what would help is if you could configure ip loactions linked to a scanning server as this should be unique to the domain you are scanning as you would not have overlapping ip addreses on a particular domain\client infrastructure.
Is this something that can be looked into, we find lansweeper very useful but have issues with overlapping ips when scanning clients\domains that use the same ip scheme.
Thanks

Include tblAssets.Scanserver in your reports to list the name of the server that scanned the machine.

Hi,
Thank You this is great, how would i go about editing modifying this report, i would like to build a custom report based on assets linked to scanning servers. any hints to what tables to use to start off would be much appreciated.

In the latest Lansweeper version, there is a widget that sorts assets by scanning server. It's called Scanserver Assets Overview and can be added to a tab by hitting the Add Widgets button.
