I need to understand what is the best scenario for this applicatin.

I have a server that is running several instances of SQL and it needs to be unaffected by any applications we add. I can put another installation of SQL on the machine that will host LS, is Express really enough for this or do I need to go to full version?
Our domain has about 200 servers and PCs, and the obvious other items like printers and such.

I need to make this a "FIRE AND FORGET" install.
And the SQL portion is a major key in this.

So I guees what my point is, SQL Express, or SQL Standard?

What is the recommendation here? and why?

Demo database with 130 computers is about 110 MB

do you have an estimated size on db's per computer added?

I would think 4 GB would be good for several thousand devices....

SQL express is limited to 4GB database which you won't get with 200 servers and pc's.
I suggest one virtual server hosting SQL,IIS and lansweeper service.
