Hi there, we have Lansweeper premium and are using it to scan several remote branches (not in AD) with the IP scanner. there are >400 machines at the branches and most of them are working fine however we have 43 with a strange issue.
If i click trigger scan on each of them they all scan fine but the IP scan always comes back with Wmierror Access is denied 0x80070005.
Obviously WMI IS working as a manual scan works. Any idea why the automated scan and the manual scan would come up with different results? Any idea on how to fix?
Hi there, thanks for the reply. Yes i have setup the default workgroup name. There are >100 sites that this is setup for and it's only a machine at some sites that are failing, the others are working quite happily.
