I know the feature list puts the scalability number at around 10,000 clients.

Has this number been tested to? Can it be exceeded and is it believed to be a function of hardware and network capacity?

I have a network of around 35,000 clients. A single instance of premium would be ideal, but has anyone pushed the scalability of the product at all?

Thanks in advance,

Josh

We have tested with about 12000 clients on one service server / one database server. (2 servers total)

Having multiple service servers can offload the scanning but you will still need one database server.
Ideal would be that the service server has a lot of processors/virtual processors to handle more simultaneous threads/scans.
The network capacity can be a problem depending on your situation. If all clients are on a LAN : no problem, if you have 20.000 clients on a 128kbit line, don't try it.

If you lower your amount of simultaneous threads, performance will never be an issue but it will take some time longer to get all clients scanned.
