Hi there.
I have searched the forum for an answor but cant quite figure this one out...
On a test machine Virtual Windows vista i get this error.
Wmierror The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA) A01GVVISTA (172.16.14.122) 2/18/2008 11:31:46 AM
I have looked at this post amoung others 🙂
http://forum.lansweeper.com/yaf_postst245_WmierrorThe-RPC-server-is-unavailable-Exception-from-HRESULT-0x800706BA.aspx
The test connection works fine
firewall disabled
Dcom enabled
Remote registry service is started
the machine can ping the Lansweeper server an can make a reverse dns lookup
There is nothing written in the Errorlog.txt
??
Any ideas where my problem is?

Does the reverse lookup points to the correct computer name?
