Hi there,

I upgraded from 4.2.0.90 to 5.0.0.44 right now but now my IIS website states a custom error "unknown targetFramework attribute". Can you helb please?

line 8: <authentication mode="Windows"/>
line 9: <identity impersonate="false"/>
line 10: <compilation debug="false" defaultLanguage="C#" strict="false" explicit="true" targetFramework="4.0">
line 11: <assemblies>
line 12: <remove assembly="System.Windows.Forms, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=B77A5C561934E089"/>

Attached you find the new nd the old web.config file. IIS runs on a 2003R2 and the database on SQL2008R2 (different machine).

Thank you very much!

I'm having a similar problem. Checked IIS (Windows 2008 R2) and all seems to be correct however the Lansweeper windows service stays hung in a starting state. Any ideas?

Hi there,

thank you very much. I did all that - since no app pool for Lansweeper was there I created one (copy of default). Is that the right way?

Now the site states:

Webserver Error
https://servername/lansweeper/default.aspx
SQL Schema update in progress.

The database upgrade is still in progress, Please wait!

Please contact support@lansweeper.com for technical assistance about this problem.

I already was waiting for some time but it does not change... Anything goes wrong?
