OK went to a PC that had an error and had missing user info. Triggered scan and failed. Found that the DNS record on DNS was missing for this PC. Added host record and flushed DNS on Lansweeper Server. Re-triggered and now have complete PC scan and complete user info. Yes.
Can't seem to test for other 9 users as they don't seem to be on the network today.
The users with missing account data appear even on PCs that have no errors. Upon subsequent re-logins the account data does not refresh. When checking it in AD all the data is there. It's seems to be cached info from a prior scan or login that never updates. I know there is a trigger scan option to rescan hardware but anyway to force a refresh of user details?
AD information is the last item scanned in the list. If these pc's report wmi errors or access denied before getting there the information is not scanned. Do these pc's have errors on the webpage?
Some of them are but several are on PCs that are scanning completely with all details and no errors.
Is there any way to force user info to update or poll directly from Active Directory? It seems to cache user data in the database after the initial query and does not re-query AD?
