We are looking for a methode to specify a wildcard search pattern within the 'File Scanning' section allowing to find files alike "*.exe" in any subdirectory of a drive.
Any ideas are appreciated

You must submit specific files/keys for file/registry scanning. It is not currently possible to search an entire computer for a particular file, list various subdirectories within a main directory or perform extension based file scanning.
The reason these features have not been implemented is because such scans are extremely taxing on client machines and take too long to complete.
