Just thought I would share a solution for the following error:
Wmierror Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
Type "dcomcnfg" in a run box on the workstation.
Select the "default properties" tab.
Tick the "Enable Distributed COM on this computer" box.
Click OK.
Restart the computer.
On windows 2000 all you will get is a box with some tabs when you run dcomcnfg.
On vista and servers you get a console snap in. Click on "component services" and drill down to "my computer" then right click it and click properties and you will get the properties box that contains the default properties tab.
I havent seen it but Im sure XP is similiar to one of these.
Upon restart I got another error that mentioned something about an RPC error. I just ran a trigger and it was fine. Not sure why I saw the error but I would just try to get it to scan again if you get an error after the fix.
