This page explains how to control view and export permissions for your diagrams in Lansweeper Sites by editing roles.
As a Lansweeper Sites (in the cloud) administrator, you can control who has view and export permissions for your diagrams by editing the roles in your Lansweeper Site.
For more information about Diagrams and its features, see
Diagrams.
It is possible to restrict access to diagrams to any role except Administrator.
For more information, see Scopes and permissions in Lansweeper Sites.
To allow view or export permissions for your diagrams:
- Go to Configuration > Account management > Roles & permissions.
- Select the role you want to edit.
- Go to Diagrams.
- Select or deselect the View diagrams and/or Export diagrams checkbox.
- Select Save role.
Diagrams respect your asset scopes, which means that users will only see assets that their role allows them to access. If you want to share an entire diagram with a user but don’t wish to edit their asset scope, consider sharing an
exported version of the diagram.
