Thanks @bkongara
The On-premises installation has a place where you can configure the cleanup, deletion, etc. of assets.
Configuration > Server Options
In that location you can find many options and check-boxes to modify your database cleanup. I'd recommend going through each of those entries to confirm they are set to what you desire.
When it comes to Network Discovery specifically, at this time there are no clean up options available. This will be coming in the next few months during our next major launch. So, at this time, your Network Discovery installation shouldn't be deleting assets.
Let's consider a few things:
1. is Asset Radar "enabled"? You may want to review the cleanup and "delete" option(s) for Asset Radar to see if it's deleting assets not discovered in 1 day--or something similar.
2. you may have enabled the cleanup up assets not found in Active Directory -- if you do not join systems to the domain or don't scan AD, I could see this causing this issue as well.
3. similar to #2 above, the SCCM settings may also effect your asset counts.
4. the "general" section of asset cleanup includes deleting assets not seen in x number of days. If this is set to 1, I could see this causing issues, especially over a weekend.
See if any of these point you in the right direction. Keep us posted how things go.
