We want to link back to our requisition db from an asset page, is there a way to autopopulate a URL with the asset name? We can also use the manufacturer support links, but {assetname} isn't available and we can't figure out if we can use a pattern in the vendor field (so all vendors generate the same pattern for a clickable link)
example: https://rq.db.example.com/{assetname}
example: https://rq.db.example.com/{assetname}

There is no built-in functionality to auto-populate custom asset fields, but you can create an asset action under Configuration\Asset Pages instead. Tick Render As Hyperlink when creating your action and include the {assetname} parameter.
