Change Building and Department to ComboBox?

Doing an eval of LanSweeper. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to alter the Building and Department under assets to a ComboBox? Data will not be clean if I allow free type there. If this can't be done - can these be hidden completely - I would then just create Custom Fields since those allow me to define the type.

While not an option that I'm aware of, I have the same issue (inconsistent naming in those fields).

The quick fix is to do a mass edit of those Assets and change that field to the standardized name.
