Are cleanup operations only performed on Active status devices? What if you mark an item as "Stock" for example so that you know you have one in the back. That particular device obviously won't be connecting to the network to check in possibly for quite a while. Will Lansweeper remove that device after the configured time frame has expired or does it exempt certain device status'? I'm trying to avoid having to check the box that the device is not affected by cleanup operations only to have to remember to uncheck that later when the device is actually placed active.

Currently, the asset cleanup options have effect on all assets regardless of state. If you want to exclude assets you'll have to use the option you mentioned.

If you have assets which come back into the network after a long time you'll either have to use the option to exclude them from cleanup options or not use the delete assets cleanup option unfortunately.

Thank you.

Can we add that as a feature request? Maybe as an additional option in the cleanup operations setup page to only perform cleanup on active status items or only the selected status'.

Or the ability to set different cleanup time frames per status, but I imagine that might start getting over-complicated.
