We have many assets that are not visible for hours and days to the Lansweeper server.
On all computers we have the lsagent agent installed and they report to the server correctly.
We have the need to install packages and run scripts from lansweeper even when they are online but they are not visible as we are not currently connected to the local network or vpn with vision to the LS server.
We also have a software called ESET Management Agent deployed on all computers in our organization. as part of the antivirus nod32 package. This eset agent does allow, among many other tasks related to Antivirus security, to execute scripts on the client's computer, install msi packages, execute .bat commands, etc. even if the user is not connected to the office, but has internet access .
We are sorry that Lansweeper does not have this enhancement implemented in lsagent because it would help IT administrators a lot to solve and deploy software.
What plans do you have to solve this problem?

I believe that PDQ Deploy looked into a feature like this, however then pulled it due to reliability and security issues.

Hello Juan,
For now, your assets need to be accessible by the scanning server if you want to run deployments on them.
LsAgent has no deployment capabilities for the moment, unfortunately. We do realize that deploying with LsAgent would be a real improvement. But when deploying over the internet there is also a security aspect we need to consider.
At this moment we can't commit unfortunately to any concrete plans when this could be implemented.

Thanks for your reply.
This same characteristic is present in the Eset Endpoint antivirus security package, where both the antivirus solution and a control agent are installed in the user's position, which can be used from a centralized console in the cloud or a server of the organization. deploy security policies, including the ability to deploy msi packages or run command prompt, which opens up the ability to run a .bat etc.
All this already allows Lansweeper to do as long as he has direct vision of the team.
But more and more teams are out of sight, working outside the office. Deploying emergency software, or security audits, is impossible in these cases until the team returns to the office.
It's okay to have an LS agent send you data from a team that has no vision. You know it is alive but you are unable to apply a major security audit or fix without having to take physical control of the computer.

In our case, our devices auto-connect back into our corporate environment via VPN.
So they act as part of our normal network for deployments etc. So it hasn't been an issue for us, but I can see some use cases where this might be useful.
