Whenever I reply to a ticket within the console, both myself and the user gets a reply. Obviously the user needs to see my reply, but I don't need to get an email to see what I wrote.
You can use the agent options for this. These are account specific settings which you can configure under the cog wheel at the top right of the web console. The option "Don't email on my updates" should do the trick here.
