Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to exclude an asset or a particular SN/model/manufacturer?
Indeed I have more and more phones and personal screens of users that are integrated on Lansweeper which distorts my inventory and generates work. In addition, we also have “duplicate” screens that retrieve inaccurate serial numbers.
I wish I could exclude them because no matter how much I delete them or make them inactive, they come back Other idea : have a “personal” or “out of scope” state.
Thank you.

I have found a solution that works for me., with State.
I will use « Don’t show » or a new State « Personal » for this case. And they will be excluded from the reports.
Unfortunately I will pay for these assets (Lansweeper Licence) even though I don’t want them.

There’s also a canned option covered in the online help Exclude assets from scanning - Lansweeper IT Asset Management

Hi
We created a custom asset field as “Privately Owned” (tick box)
Can use that field to exclude in reports, and also report to review what has been marked as private.
