Tried to change the default port to 80 via this KB article.
http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/55/How-to-change-the-port-number-in-IIS-Express.html
However, when I do so and restart IIS Express. The page doesn't load and I just get the IIS home page. Thoughts?

Based on your explanation, I assume port 80 is in use by the default website in IIS, in which case you cannot use it for another website in IIS Express as well. You'll either need to choose a different port for the Lansweeper website or choose a different port for the IIS website in IIS Manager.
