Hi All,
Anyone come across this issue when attempting to use the deployments feature?
Full message:
lansweeper Preliminary checks failed! "Task Service Error". Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) Credential: xxxx
I've tried the connection tester and everything is green, it's able to create and delete the task but when I try to try simply deployments like 'kill internet explorer' or 'uninstall firefox' that is the error being displayed.
Couldn't find this exact error in the forums, hoping someone has some suggestions.
Thanks!

Old thread, sorry to revive. But the immediate thoughts I have is that there may be an issue with the WMI service on the device or even invalid credentials. There may be an issue with the deployment package itself. Try deploying the package manually on the machine and make sure it is successful.
