We're currently having an issue where the scan service needs to be restarted every couple of hours. it seems that it will scan computers 30 is currently set for computer threads and 20 for IP threads. but then after some time there will be around 300+ computers in the queue but none actively scanning and only has the occasional 1 computer that gets scanned.
-we've tried to update to latest lansweeper version
-reduced the computer threads and IP threads
-disable all IP scanning under scanning targets
-tried add a computer to be individually scanned under the scanning targets
-confirmed symantec endpoint protection has a firewall rule to allow lansweeper and confirmed on clients traffic logs that the inbound traffic is allowed.
the database size is about 4.2GB
curious if anyone else has had same issue and suggestions we could try
