We are planning updates on the Linux / Unix (AIX / Solaris) end in the local scanner.
A streamlined experience like for a windows device is being worked on but what are the features you would like us to add ? Please provide the distros (RHEL, SuSe, Ubuntu, …) that you use also.

Will be in it, also the users that are defined on the system and the groups (and user memebership)

CentOS, Ubuntu, different versions of RedHat. it be nice to be able to push software or terminal commands to them like windows machines.

Terminal commands is possible but will depend on time left during the 1st iteration. On the Software push part, that is another piece of work as the approach differs from distro to distro and the dependencies of packages to and from each other is not that easy to automate. We give that a thought but this will not be in the 1st iteration.

It’s becoming more and more common for us to receive .ova/.ovf images/virtual machine appliances from vendors to load into a VMware ESXi environment.
There’s a variety of CentOS, Debian, RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, VMware Photon, etc.

Thanks ! The only one in this list that we have to double check on is the VMWare Photon. The others will be covered in the Enterprise Server part.
