The following error was found in the errorlog: INFO Cannot configure SSL port: 9524. Lansweeper does not support SSL on Vista / Server 2008
As SSL is currently not available on the scanning service (installed on Vista or Server 2008), the (fallback) http protocol will be used to send/receive the information. There is currently an issue with packaging the LsPush scanning result for this protocol. As such, it has been passed on to our development team so they can create a fix for this issue. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated release date for the Lansweeper version that will include this fix.
To resolve the issue at this point, it's suggested (if possible of course) to migrate the scanning service to another server with a more recent OS that allows this SSL connection.
Migrating to 2008R2 should be sufficient. The steps to migrate your installation can be found here: https://www.lansweeper.com/knowledgebase/move-lansweeper-to-different-server/

It has been over 3 months--has there been any movement on the development team providing a fix for this issue?
And do you seriously consider "Move Lansweeper to a different server" to be a solution?
