Hi all,
Yesterday we had some new monitors delivered. I decided to add one as an asset, filled in a description and serial number.
Now the monitor is connected to a machine but it will not as a detected device. I have purposely NOT set a relation from the asset to the machine in question so there is currently NO link to the workstation it is in fact connected to.
Ive changed the scanning interval for :
MONITOR (0 days)
DISPLAYCONF (0 days)
DESKTOPMON (0 days)
Manually rescanned the machine and the device still does not show as being connected to it on the computer asset page.
It is on, it is being used and working.. but no method of scanning either remotely or a manual LSAgent scan is making it show up?
My question is - is this because i have already created the asset manually with that serial number? Seems backwards that it would be the case..
